Biography:
Cravan al'Agavanzo had a small farm in the Borderlands, on the outskirts of Maradon. There he met his future wife, Tralen, and together they fled the borderlands with their firstborn, to seek refugee in Cairhien.

Cravan had to change. although a fair city, the Daes Dae'mar was hard to understand for a simple farmer. He changed his way of clothing and replaced his axe with a sword, hoping it would make him look less like a farmer. He slowly adapted, but earned more respect wielding a sword than a pen.

Fate would bring new challenges, as his daughter fell in love with a Cairhienin man. Little is known about the relationship, as they lived mostly for themselves, strangely withdrawn. They had two daughters, Elsara and Alazne.

There are several rumors about exactly what happened next, but the young man disappeared and the poor girl took her own life shortly thereafter. Some say the man could channel, and fled to save his family from the taint. Some say he was chased by many, including the tower. No one in the Agavanzo family will speak of it, but it is known that Cravan did not want anything to do with Tar Valon for many years, until his own granddaughters joined the White Tower.

Cravan first encounter with the Rising Sun was during a shadowspawn raid, where he defended Cairhien with Caufield Sanguinis among others. It was then Cravan discovered where he would like to spend the rest of his years as a soldier, in the ranks of the Rising Sun.
