Mandate
The Cairhien Rising Sun are those sworn to protect King Galldrian su Riatin
Rie, the nation of Cairhien and it's citizens. We defend the city of Cairhien,
the town of Maerone, the north and south spine of the world, and keep a close
eye on the Dragonwall for signs of movement from the Aiel. Members of the CRS
are expected to be worldly, aware of political currents everywhere and skilled
in Daes Dae'mar.
Clan Laws and Cairhien's Borders
On this day, the 22nd day of the month of Saven, in the year 466, Cairhien
hereby declares the laws of its lands for all to know, abide by and obey.
The borders of the nation of Cairhien extend up to and include the following:
* NORTH: ''Path beside a cave'', which lies north of the gully (north of the living forest), and south of the gates of Lockshear.
* NORTHWEST: ''On the Stone Bridge'', which is north of the city on the way to Tar Valon.
* EAST: ''A Rocky Trail'', which lies at the end of the barren pass east of Cairhien.
* SOUTHWEST: the Village of Maerone.
* SOUTH: ''Within the Dragonwall'', which lies just south of an encampment of the Aiel savages (aka. Tent Aiel).
Attacking any citizens of these lands will result in a warrant for crimes against Cairhien.
Attacking a member of the Rising Sun, or assisting in a fight against a member of the Rising Sun is a crime.
Fighting between travellers in Cairhien is a serious offence and, pending investigation, one or all parties involved may be warranted for breaking the peace. Similarly, stealing from another traveller in the lands of Cairhien holds the same penalty.
Wearing equipment tainted by the shadow or from the invaders across the Aryth ocean in the lands of Cairhien is forbidden. Failure to immediately turn over this eq to a Rising Sun member for proper disposal upon request is a warrantable offence. (Does not include items you have on you that can be used to exchange or turn in for qp, only that which you think to wear.)
The act of hiding or sneaking within the walls of the City of Cairhien is considered detrimental to the safety of citizens and is unlawful unless done for the sole protection of the City from those who would do Her harm.
The hunting of criminals in the lands of Cairhien is subject to the terms of the treaty between Cairhien and the respective nation involved.
In the absence of a treaty, all parties are subject to the preceding laws.
The Docks on the Alguenya River have been set aside for Gate use and the Cairhien Intersection is the proper center square for Cairhien.
